The Omaha Running Club (ORC) is very pleased with the return of the Omaha Marathon and will again present the marathon, half marathon and 5K on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The Omaha Marathon replaces the Heartland Marathon, which ORC successfully hosted from 2015 through 2024. This transition will allow us to continue focusing on uniting runners and building this beloved namesake event back to prominence. You can expect everything you loved about the Heartland Marathon, plus some extra touches to make it even more memorable, including a course highlighting the City of Omaha and adjacnet communities.

Course maps detailing a new and enhanced course to highlight the City of Omaha will be posted after approval by the City of Omaha and the other juristictions we intend to have the course pass through.

Packet pickup is on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 10:00am to 6:00pm at Millwork Commons, 1229 Millwork Avenue, Omaha, NE 68102.

Please note there is no race day packet pickup! There is no gear check.
