About the event

This 5K is a fundraising event for the Omaha Northwest HS Cross Country team. It is a family-friendly, dog-friendly, noncompetitive event for runners/walkers of all kinds held on our beautiful high school campus! Named after the famous Iditarod dog-sled race in Alaska, our NW Huskies have put our own spin on this fun endurance event! Come join the fun and say that you have completed the "I-DID-A-RUN!" For runners who are "in it to win it," prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in various age groups. Participants will also receive a coupon for a free taco from TACO BELL!
