For their senior project Daniel Lamping and Jack McClure invite you to join them for a morning run or walk in the country surrounding Lovejoy High School in Lucas, TX just east of Allen, TX.

The 1K Fun Run will start at 8:30 AM followed by the 5K at 9:00 AM.

Our certified 5K course is a fast course and takes you through scenic countryside that includes a pond and open grassy areas.

Or, if you prefer, you can choose our 1K Fun Run in the Lovejoy High School Stadium.

The 5K will be chip-timed by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing.

The 5K Race will begin and end just in front of Lovejoy High School Stadium. Most of the 5K race is a scenic run along Rock Ridge Road.

The 5K is a certified and fast course!

7:30 AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pick Up
8:30 AM: 1K Fun Run
9:00 AM: 5K Race

Checks, Cash or Credit Card will be accepted on Race Day for Registration.

We have taken on the task of continuing the tradition of Running Over Depression to help raise awareness for suicide prevention as well as helping heal those who have lost loved ones to suicide. Last year we donated over $4,000 in profit.

We will again be teaming up with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

All proceeds from the run will be donated to AFSP's research into a cure.

Trophies will be awarded to the Overall M & F & the Master M & F.

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 Males & Females in the following age groups:

10 & under, 11 - 15, 16 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39 , 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 +

After your race don't forget to have your picture taken in front of the Running Over Depression wall. After the event we will email the link to download free pictures.

Packet Pickup will be held the morning of the event in the Lovejoy High School Stadium only.
