Join us for the OAA Walk n’ Roll Awareness Fundraiser on Saturday August 20, 2022 at Centennial Park in Waukee from 9-11am as we unite to fight obesity through Obesity Awareness IN Action!

That’s right, let’s get active, no matter if you are 9 or 99 we want to see you there, getting active and starting a MOVE.ment! This is a NO COST, FAMILY-FRIENDLY event designed to get you up and moving. We will have live music to motivate your MOVE.ment as well as door prizes and more! Want to know more about OAA? Perfect!

We are a group dedicated to spreading health and wellness knowledge to all communities, especially under-served and under-represented communities well obesity and comorbidity diseases are statistically the highest. We are here to motivate and educate anyone willing to step up to the cause as we strongly believe in “reach one to teach one”. Though this is a no-cost event, all donations are welcomed, encouraged & appreciated as we apply the funds towards wellness scholarships, youth educational programs, corporate outreach programs and much more! Centennial Park is located at 1255 Warrior Lane in Waukee Iowa.

The mission of OAA is to generate action in our communities, matching key health experts, education, and scholarships, designed to deliver a positive impact on lifestyle, life quality and life choices, removing one barrier at a time, thus giving each individual power and control over his or her own life. The OAA mission is to become "boots on the ground" educating within the underserved communities, generating "Our MOVE.ment" of each one reach one, each one teach one (Reset of the Mindset). The target audience for our OAA under-served community members. All funds will be used to further this mission via scholarships, outreach events, educational support, testing support and such.
