Join us for the Clive Running Festival, July 17, 2021. As a runner in this race, to then later helping out as a volunteer for the event, I have always enjoyed this local community race. Please consider joining us and participating with your family on the beautiful Clive Greenbelt Trail. With a 5K, 10K, mile run, and the Tadpole Trot there is an event for all members of the family. This popular trail is used year round by runners, walkers and bicyclists. Proceeds from the race are used for trail improvements such as the new drinking fountains which were installed from past races and the annual maintenance on the trail. Your participation in the Clive Running Festival directly benefits all who love and enjoy the use of this wonderful asset.

We are not registering online for the tadpole trot. Show up day on race and fill out a waiver and get a free race day bib.

Course:
Starts and finishes at Clive Aquatics Center.
The majority of the race is on the Clive Greenbelt Trail. Heading out East and then heading back West on the trail.

This is straight South of the entrance to Living History Farms.

Times:
8:00 AM - 5K & 10K
9:30 AM 1 Mile (ages 6-17)
9:45 AM Tadpole Trot (ages 1-8)

Packet Pickup:
Friday July 16th from 4 PM to 6:30 PM at Fitness Sports Ltd., 8810 Swanson Blvd in Clive
Saturday before the race between 6:30 AM.and 7:30AM at the Clive Events Center (Aquatic Center)

Please register early, T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed with race day entry!

• Walkers and wheelchair participants are welcome to compete in any event.
  
Please, no dogs or other pets in this race.

• Clive Running Festival is a non-profit event.
  
• Revenue exceeding expenses is used to benefit the community through the Clive Parks and Recreation Department.
  
• Past revenues have been used for water fountains and winter snow removal equipment for the Greenbelt Trail
  
• Entrants can use their race number for swimming on race day at the Clive Aquatic Center, at no additional cost
  
• Clive Running Festival is proud to be a supporting participant for the Senior Olympics
  
• Clive Running Festival is proud to be a supporting participant for the Iowa Corporate Games
