The RVA Splash and Dash Series is a race series held in partnership with USA Triathlon. The mission is to provide kids a safe, fun introduction to multisport. The Avalon race includes a 100 m swim followed by a 1 mi run. Those who race will also have the opportunity to do a fun parent-child relay after the race also. All LRF events fund our free fitness programs which teach life skills to low-opportunity communities.

Each course will consist of a 100 y/m swim followed by a 1 mile run. The entire race will be safe, fun, and mostly visible to spectators.

For the adult-child relay at the final race, both participants will complete the 50 meter swim and 1/2 mile run individually.

7:00 am- Transition Open
7:45 am – Pre-Race Instructions
8:00 am – Start
8:45 am – Adult-Child Relay Instructions
9:00 am – Adult-Child Relay Start
8:15-9:30 am – Finish Line Celebration
