The 7th annual Dick Pond Hot Cocoa Races will be held at Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton, IL.

New in 2017: RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP.
Of course you can pick up your packet in advance at Dick Pond Carol Stream store from 11:00am-3:00pm on October 28.
Same free parking as always.
No corrals, everyone stars at the same time.

Adult Registration for Women includes a full zip fleece jacket.

Adult Registration for Men includes a fleece vest jacket.

Both the 8 Mile Run and the 5K Run and Walk will start and finish on the exercise track. The exercise track surface is grass. The remainder of the course is on crushed limestone. Both courses are flat and fast.

Race starts at 8:30 AM

Race numbers/chips and jacket can be picked up by 2nd party with confirmation sheet/printout.

The kids run is a 100 yard dash for kids 7 & under and a 1/2 mile run for kids 8-10. Both races will start after the 8 mile run is finished. All finishers will receive a finishers ribbon & goody bag. The races are not officially timed. Parents will need to sign a waiver.

Hot cocoa from My Chef and sweet treats following the race.

Parking is on the site and at parking lots in the area. Please carpool if possible.

5K and 8 Mile races are chip timed.

Awards to the top (3) overall men and women finishers and the top (3) men and women finishers in the following age groups in both races:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

Kids races will not be timed.

Each runner will receive a finisher ribbon and treat.

Kids race will start between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.
