About the event... |
The race starts at 9:00 AM on August 6th morning at the Cincinnatus Statue in Sawyer Point Park.
During the USATF- certified course you will go through Smale Park, Friendship Park and back again.
The run/walk features sprinklers, rain lane, water gun brigade, misting tent and more water-themed experiences to help cool you off on the hot August day. However, if you would prefer not to get wet that’s totally fine! There will be detours for those runners and walkers who prefer to stay dry.
Post race activities include a Free Fun Run for kids 11 and under, Kids Korner with face painting, games and entertainment. Also bottled water, bagels, fruit and Kroger ice cream sundae bar for all.
And new for 2017 a Health & Wellness Expo- designed to bring awareness to many resources, products and services available within our community that will add values to your physical, nutritional, mental health and wellbeing.
