About The Carmel Marathon Weekend |
Join us on Saturday, April 22, 2017, for the 7th Annual Carmel Marathon Weekend, Carmel's largest running event of the year. Event distances include a marathon, half marathon, 8K and 5K. Over 4,500 people participated in 2016 setting a new registration record. All races use the same start and finish line to allow friends and families to see the start and finish without having to leave the grounds. Runners and walkers will enjoy the specially chosen courses highlighting various areas of the city. All finishers will receive specially designed medals and event shirts.

Award Presentation and Closing Ceremonies |
The Top Three Podium Awards (top three male and female overall) for all events; marathon, half marathon, 8K and 5K will be presented in the center of the Tom Wood Vehicle Display on the west side of the Palladium just south of the Start line. Age Group awards for all events will be available at the Results Tent.
Podium awards for the 8K and 5K will be presented at 9:00 AM at the Tom Wood Vehicle Display located. Podium Awards for the Half Marathon will take place at 10:00 AM and the Podium Awards for the Marathon at 11:00 AM.
Age group awards to the top-3 in the following age groups: 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Parking is available all around the start/finish area including the Tarkington Theater parking garage to the south and the Woods Wire gravel lot to the north.

Participants will enjoy the Monon Community Center at Central Park offering a 161-acre park featuring natural wetlands, lagoon, boardwalk and four miles of trails.
