About Depot Day |
Gainesville's Depot Day Festival is held annually on the second weekend in October in and around the downtown courthouse square. Varied in its attractions and appeal, Depot Day marks the importance of railroad history to Gainesville and celebrates fun for the family and enthusiasts of many walks. Depot Day is held from 10am-5pm on Saturday. The festival includes a full day of live music & entertainment, an antique and classic car show, festival food of every flavor, craft vendors, education & health screenings, and the Kid Zone.
There will be street closures on California St. due to the Depot Day Festival. Parking will be available at the First United Methodist Church near Lindsay St. (Not at the parking lot at Denton/Pecan St.)
Please note that this event will happen rain or shine, but may be subject to cancellation in the event of lightning or severe weather threats.

Due to Depot Day festivities beginning at 10 am, the awards ceremony will begin at the Courthouse Square, 100 S. Dixon St. at 9:30 am. This is 2 blocks west of the race start/end.
