Event Information |
Over 1,500 women participated in the event representing 25 states making it the largest women's only running event in Indiana.
The course offers a beautiful start in downtown Indianapolis at Monument Circle around the Indiana War Memorial, through IUPUI campus along the White River and back. The course is relatively flat with one challenging hill at mile 7 by the velodrome. Plan on staying an extra night at the Sheraton and enjoy downtown Indy and the La Plaza Festival just a few blocks away. The September date offers cooler temps and a great training event for those running a fall October/November marathon.
NEW for 2015, a revised 5K route allowing the 5K and Half Marathoners to enjoy the opening ceremonies together and the same 7:30 AM start.
