  • 7:00-8:00 am: Race day registration & packet pick up @ Carmel High School
    Field House
  • 9:00am: 5K Start
  • 9:15am: 2K Start
  • 7:30am -10am: Wellness Fair:

Awards & Post-Race reception - 9:45am

  • 5K and 2K - top 3 overall finishers in each race will receive an award.
  • 5K only- top 3 finishers in each age-group to receive an award.
  • 2K only- participation prize given to all finishers.
  • Safe costumes are welcomed and prizes will be awarded to the best youth, adult, and ensemble costumes.

Packet Pickup

On-site registration and pre-registered packet pick-up will be available at the Carmel High School Field House on Friday, October 24 from 4:30 to 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday, October 26 from 7:00 to 8:00 A.M.

The shirt option is now closed, but a limited amount of shirts will be available at packet pick up for purchase.

Volunteer Positions

Carmel High School's Field House (520 E Main Street)

(Positions may be reassigned at the event depending on the circumstances)


Friday October 24: Packet Pickup/Registration Volunteer-Packet pickup volunteers will be helping registered runners receive the designated running packets and t shirts. Shift times- 4-6 p.m.; 5:30-8 p.m.

Hospitality Committee Fri night/ Sat morning: Direct participants to and from course around start and finish times. Help participants navigate around runners services including registration/packet pick up, Wellness Fair, & Awards. Shift times- Friday- 4-6 p.m.; 5:30-8 p.m.; Saturday- 6:30-11 a.m.

On site Volunteer Coordinators Fri night /Sat morning: Coordinate volunteer services including check in and record keeping to log name / hours, worked/ positions. Guide volunteers to assigned positions and help answer questions. Shift times-Friday night- 3:45-6 p.m.; 5:15-8 p.m.; Saturday - 6-11 a.m.

Saturday October 25: Packet Pickup/ registration Volunteer: Packet pickup volunteers will be helping registered runners receive the designated running packets and t shirts. Shift time- 6:30- 10:00 a.m.

Saturday, October 25: Runners Services Volunteer- The Saturday Runners service Volunteers will make sure that the runners receive food and drink at the finish of the race. Shift time- 8:00-10:30 a.m.

Saturday, October 25: Course Marshall Volunteer (must be 18 or older)- The Saturday Course Marshall
Volunteers will be directing participants along the designated Ghosts and Goblins route. Shift time - 7:45-10:30 a.m.

Saturday, October 25: Water Station Volunteer-The Saturday Water station volunteers will be handing out water to the participants on the course at designated locations. Shift time-7:45-10:30 a.m.
