Event Details

Mary Stewart Fortune was the main contributor to the fundraising and creation of Benny Russell Park in Pace, FL. In August of 2014, Mary Stewart was diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiform. Despite surgery, chemo, and radiation, Mary Stewart lost her battle to brain cancer in June of 2015. Survived by her husband, two daughters, and son, the Fortune family
has sought out to expand and maintain the park in Mary Stewart’s honor. We would love for you to join us at the 3rd annual Mary Stewart Fortune Fun Run. This year we have a goal of raising funds to pay for the installation of a splash pad. No matter the size, each donation is greatly appreciated and will be put towards improving the park for generations to come.
