WHO:
Non State Qualifiers competitors in grades 7-12 who are looking for another opportunity to race their best on a flat & fast course. Entries are welcome from any school. Athletes/Parents are responsible for registration (see below) and arranging their own transportation.

WHY:
This will be a unique opportunity for Non State Qualifiers competitors to extend their season past the Conference meet.

* Athletes are welcome to compete without registering; however, they will not be included in official results or awards.
*Anyone deemed to be disruptive of the competitive environment will be asked to leave.
*NOTE: This is NOT a sanctioned IHSAA/IGHSAU/CIML event; however, athletes are welcome & encouraged to wear their school uniform in the event that coach has not yet collected it.

HOW:
In the Dragon Chase the female participants will receive a 2 minute head start over the male participants. From there it is a mad dash to see who will cross the finish line first!!

*NOTE: The 2 minute head start is based on the results from the 2021 Johnston Postal National Event (3200 meters) in which the average time for the boys was exactly 2 minutes faster than the average time for the girls.

If weather becomes an issue, we will do our best to re-schedule.
