Brief Description of the race: The Awesome Wassom 5k" is a fun run/race dedicated to the memory of Dan Wassom, a loadmaster with the Arkansas Air National Guard, who lost his life protecting his daughter from the Vilonia tornado in 2014. This year TV Commercial/Show is the theme and participants are highly encouraged to race in costumes. Proceeds are going to be used for the MSgt Dan Wassom Scholarship, Giving Thanksgiving for the FACT, and Wreathes Across America.
