Event Details |
Come be a part of the 2nd Annual Soar with the Eagles Elementary Track 1600 / 800 meter Championship!
This event will be held at the Columbia City High School Track / Football Stadium on Friday May 17, 2024 with races starting at 5:00pm. This event will provide an excellent opportunity for elementary athletes to participate in an exciting race setting and hopefully fall in love with Track and Field through their participation.
Kindergarten through 2nd grade boys and girls will compete in an 800 meter race and 3rd grade through 5th grade boys and girls will compete in a 1600 meter race.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and ribbon. There will be individual awards for 1st through 10th place by gender and grade division. There will be team awards to the 1st place team with overall scoring by gender and grade division.
The races are open to athletes from any elementary school or home school student, so help spread the word and let’s make this a huge success and annual tradition!
