I hereby knowingly certify that I am at least 18 years and I absolve, waive, release, discharge, covenant not to sue & hold harmless the City of Cedar Rapids and its employees, Linn County and its employees, Road Runners Club of America, the Cedar Valley Running Association, Corridor Running, New Bohemia Group, NewBo City Market & any and all race sponsors, race committee & volunteers, from any and all liabilities or injury claims whatsoever incurred by or against me during the aforementioned event. By signing below, I agree that I know that running in and or volunteering for organized group runs, social events, and races like this are potentially hazardous activities, which could cause injury or death. I will not participate in any Corridor Running Club affiliated event, group training run or social event, unless I am medically able and properly trained. By my electronic signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform all activities associated with Corridor Running events and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I assume all risks associated with participating in race activities which may include: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, extreme cold, traffic or slippery/icy or other conditions of the road or sidewalks and all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that Corridor Running & NewBo Run warns against the use of baby joggers, participating with your dog, and personal music players during any club organized activities and I If I decide to use them I am doing so at my own risk. Any bicycles, skateboards, roller skates or rollerblades are not allowed. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my registration, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Corridor Running, NewBo Run, the Road Runners Club of America, all club sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation with this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness. I release the rights to any and all photographic or video material and computer/electronically gathered information the organization may use from any club event without obligation to me. I understand that I may be contacted via future e-mail correspondence with registration information, results, general information updates, cancellations and upcoming event information. I can opt out of any future e-mail contact. By signing with the Corridor Running, I am also signifying that I am in the proper physical condition to participate. If, however, as a result of my participation I require medical attention, I hereby give my consent to authorized medical personnel of Corridor Running and NewBo Run to provide such medical care as is deemed necessary by such personnel.
