The Lard Butt 1K (yes, that is a 1K) is set for Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Seattle's Magnuson Park!

Dedicated to the below-average athlete in all of us, the Lard Butt 1K will be chocolate-chip timed, replace water stations with donut booths every 250 meters and will have a well-stocked beer garden before and after. For just $35, you get entry into the wave of your choice, a commemorative Lard Butt 1K shirt, all the Krispy Kreme donuts you want, your choice of an adult beverage, and bragging rights for a year!

While walking is urged, there will be a show-off wave for people who have the audacity to actually run and we'll have tons of other surprises in-store.

We'll also have our traditional canned food drive and donate proceeds to a very worthy cause in the University District Food Bank. Event soundtrack tunes provided by "The Fish" Jeff Aaron, a Lard Butt tradition making a special return trek to Seattle! Many more details to come...as our mantra states, Get Cracking!

8:00 a.m. – Packet Pickup and Day-of Registration

9:30 a.m. – Start of the First Lard Butt 1K Wave

10:45 a.m. – Free Kid’s Dash
