“The Hope Center 5K/1 Mile Walk is designed to bring the community together in a way that is challenging, but promotes health at the same time. All proceeds from this race will go to the Hope Center and help fund its community projects. For example, this race will help purchase much needed food for the feeding events, which, on average, feed 250 families each weekend. Thank you for your support!”

The following categories will receive awards in the chip-timed 5K.

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+

We kindly ask if you are pushing a stroller and the child is not running, please do not have a timing bib on the them. We do have 4 year olds that run with their parents.

The race day schedule is as follows:

Registration: 7:00 a.m.
5K: 8:00 a.m.
1M: 8::10 a.m.

T-Shirts will be available up until April 16th, 2021 at midnight. Tees will be available on race day on a first-come, first-serve basis and may not be available in all sizes or at all. Please register early to be guaranteed a tee.

We kindly ask that all runners, volunteers and anyone associated with the event please social distance. You may wear a mask if you feel more comfortable. Given that Governor Abbott has stopped the mandatory mask requirement in the month of March, we cannot force anyone to wear one. Your safety is up to you. If you wish to wear a mask or 2, please feel free to do so!
