I have read the Holliday park Trail Run entry form completely and understand the policies of the event. I know that participating in a Trail Run is a potentially hazardous activity and will require running/hiking across rugged, uneven terrain, barriers and other obstacles. I should not participate unless I am medically able. I understand the nature of, and assume all risks associated with my voluntary participating in this event, including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including extreme temperatures and precipitation, and traffic. Knowing these facts, I for myself, heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Friends of Holliday Park and any an all sponsors affiliated with the 2010 Holliday park Trail Run, Tuxedo Brothers, Inc, race officials, workers or volunteers, their representatives, successors or assigns for ANY AND ALL claims or liability, whether seen or unforeseen, for death, personal injury or property damage arising out of, or in the course of, my participation in this event. I agree to use the IPICO timing tag and will return it upon completion of the event. If I fail to return this tag I will pay a $20 replacement fee. I further grant full permission to the Friends of Holliday park and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, video tapes, or other record of the event for any reasonable purpose.
I understand that this event may be cancelled by conditions outside of the control of event organizers for the safety and well-being of event staff, participants and the community; such as severe weather, civil unrest, pandemics, bans on public gatherings, threat of terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances that would make the event non-viable, and if so, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund or deferral once my race registration is complete.
