The Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter of the Regional Trail Corporation will hold its 9th Annual 5k/10k Run and 2 Mile Fun Walk on Saturday May 15, 2020.

T-shirts guaranteed to those runners and walkers registered by April 25, 2020.

This event is a major fundraiser for the maintenance of the Westmoreland County section of the Great Allegheny Passage. Sponsored by West Newton Fox's Pizza

The event will start at the Arthur H. King Access Area of the Youghiogheny River Trail in West Newton. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used by trail volunteers to maintain, preserve and enhance the Westmoreland County section of the Great Allegheny Passage.

Each participant will receive tickets to redeem for two slices of Fox's Pizza after the race!

From 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the King Trailhead.

Arthur King Trail Access in West Newton on PA Route 136. For GPS directions use 111 Collinsburg Road, West Newton, PA which will take you directly to parking area.

The Course – Run or Walk on the beautiful Westmoreland County Section of the Great Allegheny Passage! Comfortable crushed limestone surface. Out and back non –conflicting courses.

Medals for runners only – Top two male and top two female overall.

Top three in each age category:
11- 15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

All participants 10 and under will get a medal!
Medal to youngest and oldest walker.
