I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run/walk unless I am medically able. I also know that although adequate protection will be provided, there will be traffic on the road. I assume any and all risks associated with running/walking this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather including high heat or humidity or the conditions of the road. I recognize that if I choose to wear a portable listening device during the race that it may cause a distraction which may increase my risk of injury. Dogs, in-line skates and bikes are not allowed on the course. Runners or walkers with strollers must start in the rear. Knowing these facts and in consideration of your acceptance of my entry fee, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, agree not to sue and waive release and discharge Senior Connect, FBCWellness, race sponsors, any local government and police assigned or volunteers or causes acting on their behalf from any and all claims and causes of actions (foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown) for death, personal injury or property damage or any kind or nature including those arising out of their negligence in the course of my participation of this road race. I give my permission for medical team evaluation, treatment and transfer to emergency facility if needed. I agree that Senior Connect and FBCWellness race officials have the right to remove me from the race and related activities if they are of the opinion that it is in my best interest or the best interest of the event that I be removed. I further grant permission to Senior Connect and FBCWellness to use my photos for any purpose without limitations or compensation. I understand that fees are not refundable or transferrable. I agree to abide by race instruction and understand that there is a three-hour time limit after which the racecourse is not monitored by officials associated with the event. All confirmed orders are final once payment is submitted. I have read and understand this agreement as confirmed by my signature on the corresponding form.
