Event Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of acceptance of this entry, I, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waiver and release any and all right and claim for damages I may have or that may hereafter accrue to me against the City of Clinton, Iowa, and any City of Clinton officials and/or employees, Easter Seals, Clinton Masonic Center, sponsors, managers and operators associated with the event I am entering for any injuries incurred by me during, because of, or in travel to or from the Pam Pray Memorial 4 Mile Run/Fun Walk on July 18, 2021. I understand that this event may be cancelled by conditions outside of the control of event organizers for the safety and well-being of event staff, participants and the community; such as severe weather, civil unrest, pandemics, bans on public gatherings, threat of terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances that would make the event non-viable, and if so, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund or deferral once my race registration is complete.
