Waiver

In consideration of the Evergreen Animal Protective League organizers permitting me to participate in the 5K walk/run activities, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all rights, liability, causes of action and claims that may hereafter accrue to me or which I may assert against the Evergreen Animal Protective League, Jefferson County, Denver Parks, event sponsors and vendors, their officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns for personal injury and/or property damage that I or my dog may suffer or sustain as a result of my participation in any 5K walk/run activities. I hereby assume all risks of any such injury and damage. I certify that I and my pet are physically fit to participate in any event which we may enter. I further grant permission to the use of any photographs of me and my animal in media accounts and promotions of the EAPL Zombie 5K walk/run. *All dogs must wear ID tags, be on a 4-6' locked leash, *socialize well with other dogs and people, be current on rabies vaccinations, be at least six months of age, and females may not be in heat. Please be kind to your four-legged companion and maintain an appropriate pace. Water stations are provided on route. You are responsible for weather appropriate dress and footwear for you and your children and pets. *If you or your dog requires additional water, please make accommodations.*

We cannot issue refunds. The cost and logistics of setting up and planning the event make refunds impossible. The run will take place precipitation or shine; however, please understand we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, so if conditions deteriorate to the point of becoming an unsafe environment for our participants, we will react accordingly. Safety will always take precedence.
