I understand that my entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. I also agree not to let anyone else run under my registration. I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, as such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of Lincoln Track Club accepting my entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Lincoln Track Club, the City of Lincoln, all sponsors, their representatives and successors from claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, and recordings of me, or any other record of this event, for any legitimate purpose.
Photo/Video Release:
I agree that the Lincoln Track Club and race sponsors can use my race photos and video for marketing purposes and understand these photos will be available to the public and tagged by my race bib.
USATF Terms, Conditions, Rules and Waiver Acceptance:
Athletes who participate in this competition may be subject to formal drug testing in accordance with USATF and IAAF rules, in accordance with USOC, USADA, or IAAF procedures. Athletes found, after a disciplinary hearing, to be positive for prohibited substances, as defined by the WADA Code and/or IAAF, or who refuse to be tested, will be disqualified from this event and may lose eligibility for future competitions. Any prize money payable to an athlete who has tested positive shall be withheld until final disposition of all disciplinary proceedings. BEWARE: Some prescriptions, over the counter medications, and nutritional supplements may contain prohibited substances. Please note:
I agree to wear appropriate clothing for the forecasted weather on the day of the event. I understand that Gas Masks and other clothing that will prohibit my ability to breath freely or stay cool, and weapons are NOT ALLOWED.
I agree to follow all stated rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers.
