In consideration of my being a participant in the 5k race or 5k walk, I, the undersigned, do hereby agree to assume all risk of harm, injury, or loss, of whatever nature resulting at said event and release, discharge, and forever hold harmless Akron Elementary School, Akron Las Donas, the Town of Akron, all sponsors, race officials, volunteers, contributors, and their representatives and successors associated with this event, from any and all claims which might arise from my participation in said even or from traveling to or return therefrom. I grant permissions to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this even for any legitimate purpose. (No headphones, portable music devices, bikes, pets, or skates allowed on race course!)
