Event Waiver

I know that running a road or trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and walk or run unless I am medically able and properly trained to run the distance of this event. I understand that the weather conditions can be detrimental and there is a danger of weather-related injury or even death. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather including heat, humidity, icy, wet and slick conditions, traffic and the condition of the trail all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Cattleman's Ball of Nebraska Inc., Smart Chicken, Homestead Running Club, Road Runners Club of America, City of Beatrice, and all volunteers from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my photographs or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
