CRMO Awareness Virtual 5K Walk-A-Thon - Beat up CRMO, don't let CRMO Beat you!

Please join me and help me raise money for CRMO, Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis. CRMO is a disease that cause severe and chronic pain your joints.

When I was 8 years old, I believed that I can do anything. Then CRMO happened. I started to have severe pains in my joints. The pain in my bones didn't only hurt physically, but it hurt mentally. That feeling that I could do anything was slowly slipping away.

I was no longer able to participate in the activities that I loved like softball, hiking and dance. When we went to the doctor, I was diagnosed with Jumpers Knee, Growing Pains, Osgood Schlotter syndrome and even one doctor said I was making it up. Sometimes, I couldn't sit up and turn my head or walk up stairs. I hurt all the time. That pain was real and relentless.

Finally, I found doctors that specialized in CRMO and after 3 years, and several different medications, I'm finally getting back to that feeling of believing that I can do anything.
