CCVI Trolley Run - 31st Annual - Karli's Angels

Our daughter Karli Clark was born with a rare chromosome disorder and as a result she has numerous medical conditions including multiple brain and birth defects, severe early onset epilepsy, developmental delays and cortical visual impairment. She is 5 years old but functions at the level of a 6 month old. She’s had 2 major surgeries and is on 9 daily medications. In her short life she has been hospitalized more times than we can count. Parenting a child with multiple disabilities is rewarding in many ways, yet it is also emotionally, physically and financially challenging. CCVI is an invaluable resource helping us and Karli navigate many of these challenges. They are a non-profit organization that provides therapy and educational services for children with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. Karli receives visual, occupational, physical, speech, music and aquatic therapies at CCVI through their scholarship program. CCVI has been funded solely by donations since they opened their doors in 1952. Without their scholarship assistance we would not be able to send Karli to such an amazing place where she can play with others at her level and learn to navigate in a world that was not built for people like her. CCVI is required to raise 70% of its annual budget to keep its doors open and the Trolley Run is CCVI’s major fundraiser each year to meet that goal. We ask that you please be one of Karli's Angels so she can continue to get the services that she truly needs and deserves.
