130 Americans die each day from an opioid overdose. There has been a 400% increase in heroin related deaths.
Harm Reduction works
There is a new race coming to Des Moines in 2025 that is being organized for those who have battled or know someone that has battled with addiction. It is for those that have lost that battle and those that are still battling...you are not alone. Harm Reduction works. Harm Reduction is all about meeting a person where they are in life and addiction. All proceeds from the race will go to the local Iowa AATOD chapter. AATOD is the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence. All proceeds raised will be used to help those in their battle against addiction. Come run or walk with us and support a great cause. All paces welcome.

*The race in September will also include a 10k*
