Event Details |
For years Mitchellville resident, George Ballard, helped to organize this event as part of the Thomas Mitchell Days celebration. This is the 21st anniversary we have chosen to honor George’s life by having this event in his name. Please join us for a fun event honoring the life of George Ballard.
Start/Finish: Mitchellville City Park, 2nd and Oak Ave NE
Course: Paved Mitchellville city streets which includes hills
Awards given to top 3 finishers in run and walk.

9:00 Free Kids Run for children Kindergarten thru 5th Grade. Start at 2nd and Oak (city park).
Run will be from corner of park to Park Ave. and back.
Each child participating will receive a gift bag.
