💙 Run With Purpose

When you register for the Cops & Joggers 5K & Kids Fun Run, you’re doing more than signing up for a race — you’re stepping up for the men and women of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and their families.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 through this event, and every entry brings us closer. The Boone County Sheriff’s Auxiliary uses these funds to provide:

Emergency relief for deputies and their families in times of crisis

Mental health support after traumatic events

Celebration & recognition during promotions, retirements, and milestones

Compassionate care during grief, such as meal trains or urgent family needs

By lacing up with us, you’re helping ensure our deputies and their loved ones are supported through life’s highs and lows. Together, we can make this 5K about more than miles — we can make it about making a difference.

On-Site, Day of Race Registration ends promptly at 8:45 AM to allow race day volunteers to get everyone entered into the race.

5K Race starts at 9:00 AM in front of the Boone County Sheriff's Office. The course proceeds down Conrad Ln toward Idlewild Rd then continues through a marked course in England-Idlewild Park before returning back to the Boone County Sheriffs Office.

Kids Fun Run will start at 10:30 AM. For kids not wanting to run the normal 5K route, we will have a shorter Fun Run Route in front of the Boone County Sheriff's Office. This route will include colored chalk that will be tossed on the kids as they run.

In the event of inclement weather, our organization will make every effort to delay the run if feasible before ultimately canceling it. However, please note that there will be no refunds issued for cancellations due to weather conditions. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our participants and decisions regarding cancellation will be made with their best interests in mind.

5K Registration (Ages 12 and Up)

Early Bird: $30 - thru 8/1/26
Guaranteed event t-shirt and finisher medal

Regular: $40 - 8/1/26 - 8/29/26
Shirt and medal while supplies last

Race Day: $45 - 8/29/26 - 9/12/26
Medal only (shirt not guaranteed)

Kids 5K/Fun Run Registration (Ages 0-12): $15 All dates
Kids finisher medal, sunglasses, and guaranteed event t-shirt if registered by 8/25/26.

Note that kids in this age group are eligible to run both 5K and Fun Run with this

Family 5K Bundle: $120 All dates
Four 5K registrations (ages 12+) (save $40 vs. individual pricing)

Full Family Bundle: $95 All dates
Two 5K registrations + two Kids Fun Run registrations (save $15 vs. individual pricing)
