About the Event |
10K – A picturesque route on the paved trail around the Lake. It will test a runner’s mettle with its many turns and occasional hills.
2 Mile – A moderately hilly out-and-back course across the dam.
KIDS’ 1K – A relatively flat route along the trail for kids 12 & under.
10K & 2 Mile participants will receive a T-shirt with their registration. T-shirt is not guaranteed after 7/22/2025. No shirt for Kids' 1K. All participants will receive refreshments after the race.
The 10K starts at 7:30 am, the 2 mile at 7:35 am and the kids run at approximately 8:50 am after the last 10K runner finishes.

At the Visitors Center at Chalco Hills/Wehrspann.
Late registrations will be accepted up to 7:15 am. Online registration closes at 9 PM Saturday, August 2.

Awards |
10K - Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall male & female, top 3 masters male & female. Medals for top male & female in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & up.
2 Mile - Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 overall male & female finishers.
Kids Run - Medals to all kids 12 and under.
