All 8k and 5k participants will receive finisher medals.
Register by June 15th for guaranteed shirt sizing. Registrations received after June 15th will receive shirt sizes that are available on a first come, first served after the race or at packet pickup.
Sunday, July 3rd:
The packet pick up will be July 3rd from 11AM-4PM location at the Cedar Rapids City Services building at 500 15th Ave SW Cedar Rapids ia 52402.. You may pick up someone else's packet. There is no race day registration.
All COVID restrictions and modifications of the event will be communicated via email, Facebook and all social media channels.
Monday, July 4th:

7:30 AM - Corridor Running's Fifth Season 8K Race starts
7:45 AM - Corridor Running's Fifth Season 5K Run/Walk Starts
9:15 AM - Big Kids Fun Run
9:30 AM - Youth Mile Run

Fifth Seasons 8K Race |
The Fifth Seasons 8k Race is our feature event!
Start/Finish line at the corner of 3rd Ave SE and 5th Street near the front of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Arts.. The race will consist of an out and back route that will run from Greene Park on 3rd Ave SE, to 19th St SE, to Grande Avenue SE, with the turnaround in Bever Park and back down the same route to a downhill finish in front of Museum of Art/Green Park.
Corridor Running Fifth Season 5K
The 5K route will follow the same route as the 8K, but have a turnaround on Grand Avenue.
Finisher's Medals:
Finisher medals are provided for the 8K and 5K finishers.
Shirts:
Register by June 15th to receive a guaranteed shirt size. Any shirt requested after June 15th will be on a first come, first served basis at packet pickup, not guaranteed.

Per USATF rules, all awards will be based on gun times. Chip timing will be used for personal verification only.
Age group medal awards for male and female age divisions in the Corridor Running's Fifth Season 8K race will be as follows:

Top seven overall male and female racers are ineligible for age division awards in the Fifth Seasons 8K race.

Prize Money:
$3148 in total prize money will be awarded in the 8K race.
All prize money will be based on gun times.
Overall Winners:
Prize money will be awarded to the top seven male and female overall finishers in the 8K race as follows:

Bonus Money
$100 additional money will paid to the fastest male and fastest female Corridor Running member!
Masters/Grand Masters:
Trophies will be awarded to the top Master male and female runners (40+) to finish the 8K race.
Trophies will be awarded to the top Grand Master male and female runners (50+) to finish the 8K race.
Eligibility:
High School and NCAA athletes are ineligible to receive prize money; prize money will be forfeited.
There will be no doubling of awards. One prize per athlete. Exception will be the additional moneys listed above.
Decision of race officials is final.
Fifth Season 5k Run/Walk |
No prize money is awarded for the 5K Run/Walk. Age group medals to Top 3 in each age division for Fifth Season 5K racers.
Per USATF rules, all Fifth Season 5k awards will be based on gun times, with chip timing provided solely for runner convenience.
The 5th Season 5K Fun Run/Walk gives you the chance to get out with friends, stretch your legs, and enjoy an Iowa morning. Bring the kids and join a great group of health conscious Eastern Iowans. Strollers are welcome!
Timing:
The Fifth Season 5K race will utilize chip timing.
At packet pickup participants will receive an electronic timing chip.
The scenic and mostly flat course takes runners and walkers on an out-and-back course through historic Cedar Rapids neighborhoods. You'll get a chance to cheer the Health Solutions 8K leaders and people you know along the way. Enjoy course entertainment all along the route and a great party for the whole family afterwards.

Finisher medals and commemorative race T-shirts to all kids who enter!
Kids love the races on the 4th of July! Open to kids 12 and under, they are a great way to teach kids how to live a healthy lifestyle.
Parents may run with their children and strollers are welcome! Sorry, no pets allowed.
Both races will be run on 4th Ave SE, beginning in front of the Cedar Rapids Public Library.

Race results will be posted at the race, and will also be available within after the race at www.fifthseasonrace.com
Get a custom race slip at the timing tent after the race. It will include your name, time, overall and division placing. The timing tent will be located in Greene Square Park near the corner of 4th Ave SE and 5th St SE.

The 5th Season races supports the local Cedar Valley and Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity organizations. Habitat for Humanity works within our communities to affect the quality of life, health, and economic prosperity through a focus on clean, decent, and stable housing. The areas served include the following counties: Linn, Benton, Johnson, Iowa, Cedar, and Washington. The donations that are made are used locally within these counties.
