We look forward to you joining us in person or virtually for the 7th Annual Megan Hammerle Memorial 5K. This event honors the life of Megan Hammerle, a 2014 graduate of Lebanon High School who loved running....especially on cross country courses!

Megan was a freshman at DePauw University when she died on February 13, 2015 from a rare form of meningitis. Her high school friends came together to host the inaugural Megan 5K raising over $10,000 for a scholarship in Megan's name. To date, the Megan Suzanne Hammerle Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to five Lebanon High School seniors who were 4-year members of the band or cross country program. Megan's family is grateful that the scholarship fund is fully endowed and will continue for many years to come!

We are excited to announce a new partnership with Boone County Mentoring Partnership (BCMP). Beginning this year, BCMP will take the lead in organizing the event and proceeds will benefit their mission of connecting local youth with adult mentors who can help them realize their dreams.
