An evening of three running events in the heart of the Capital City. This is a community centered evening with racing for all abilities and ages. Our goal is to bring people together, promote fitness, and be outside. This is a one of a kind run/race where you will do multiple laps of the same course run cross country style on grass at WOODS PARK. Perfect for friends and family to come cheer you on.
Fees- All on time, October 15th, registrants will receive a knit hat and glove combo.
Competitive 5k
For those athletes looking to run under 30 minutes (this is a multi loop course and for safety reasons we don't want runners to get hurt as lapping is likely). Runners of all abilities are welcome to do it, just be aware that lapping will happen.
There is also a team race in the competitive event. Teams will be made up of four runners. Team categories will include Open Men, Open Women, Open Coed (2 male, 2 female), High School Boys, High School Girls, High School Coed. Awards based on total team time
Community 5k
For those looking for something more leisurely. Runners, friends, and families of all abilities are invited to participate. This will likely take place after sunset so there will be lights out marking the way. Headlamps or flashlights are strongly encouraged. There will be a 1 hour limit on the finish line being set up.

Parking |
Parking is available in all nearby areas. Lot south of Lincoln-Lancaster County Health building, Lots west and south of Kiwanis ball field. Lot east of Woods tennis and pool. Street parking on Rogers Memorial Dr (watch for no parking signs). Please try to avoid parking the neighborhood to the west of Woods Park.

Race day only, at shelter near playground.

Awards |
Individual prize package donated by Lincoln Running Company, Fleet Feet of Lincoln, and Territory Run, Co will be given to the top 10 men and women open (39 and under) and master's (40+).
In the team event, winning teams will win dinner from one of the attending food trucks. Team categories will include male, female, combined (2 of each gender) in both the high school and open divisions. So 6 team champions in all. TEAM AWARD BASED ON TOTAL TIME OF TEAMMATES.

Event Cancellation |
The only way this event will be cancelled is inclement severe weather. I.e. lightning.
There are NO refunds for the cancellation of the race due to weather.
