The inaugural Grinnell Veterans 5k on July 8th 2023 is a chip timed, family friendly race hosted by your local Grinnell American Legion. Runners are welcome to wear patriotic gear. Strollers and kids are welcome, as there will be awards for a variety of age groups, in addition to the top Male and Female runners. Be sure to sign up by June 17th to ensure you receive a T-Shirt. T-Shirts will be picked up, along with bibs at packet pickup at 0630 the morning of July 8th.

Route |
The race will start on the North side of Central Park at 0800, with runners heading North on Broad Street toward Grinnell College. Runners will loop around the Grinnell College campus, going East on 8th Ave, turning North on East St and back West on 10th Ave. Runners will head back South on Broad St, turning East on 3rd Ave. The final stretch has runners turning North on Summer St and returning to Central Park on 4th Ave.
