Course |
33.3 Kilometer Big Dipper shape course. Start on Flat Iron Rd. (Hwy 16) South of Hwy 173. (S. W. on Flat Iron which turns into Angling Rd. 8mi). (Left onto Denny Rd 1 mile), (left on Orth Rd. 1 ½ mi.) (Left onto Capron Rd 2mi.) (Continue Straight onto Angling Rd N.E. 7mi) (and back to the finish just South of Hwy 173).

Opens 7:30 am at Milky Way Park (West of Harvard on Hwy 173) (GPS: 300 Lawrence Rd.)
Entry Fee: Pre-registration: $25 (RACE DAY registration $30) Juniors pre-registered $10 (Race day $15).
Additional rides $10 for each ride.
*ABR membership required: Annual license $25; Juniors <19 Annual license $10; One day license $5

8:30 am Start. One-minute intervals. Starts based on order of registration or request if time open.

Illinois Champion Jerseys to top rider each race class with ABR Annual Illinois Resident membership.
Medals awarded 5 deep in all classes and categories.
Overall Fastest Riders: Fastest times of day cash awards (1st $20, 2nd $15, 3rd $10, 4th $10, 5th $10)
Overall Female Riders: Fastest times of day cash awards (1st $20, 2nd $15, 3rd $10, 4th $10, 5th $10)
Overall Junior Riders: Fastest times of day cash awards (1st $15, 2nd $10, 3rd $10, 4th $5)
(Recumbent, HPV, Tandem): Fastest time of day cash award (1st $20, 2nd $10) not eligible for standard bikes awards.
Special note for Juniors and Masters 70+: The turnaround for you (about 11 km out) will be at the intersection at the right fork turn onto the big dipper loop.
(Only the fastest time in the same category or age will count for points or prize money)

Hwy 14 to Hwy 173 (on the South Side of Harvard, Illinois) Take Hwy 173 West about 2 miles to the Milky Way Park (South West side of Harvard, Illinois) Turn right on Lawrence Rd (North) into the parking lot.
