Heaven Can Wait 2020: Virtual Race for Frontline Heroes

We are changing our annual Heaven Can Wait 5K to a virtual event this year to raise funds for St. Charles Health System’s COVID-19 efforts.

For the past 20 years, the Heaven Can Wait 5K has raised money for Sara’s Project, providing breast cancer education and support for people in Central and Eastern Oregon. Those services will continue. Fighting COVID-19 impacts our entire community and this virtual event allows us the flexibility to raise much-needed funds to support St. Charles’ frontline caregivers.

Once you register, you will receive a printable bib number via email and you can complete a 5K on your own, in your own neighborhood with responsible social distancing, within the span of a week. This can be done outdoors or on a treadmill. While you're completing your 5K, please take pictures and share them with us so we can post them to our social channels. Or tag @STCHealth and @HCWCentralOregon (pictures set to public) on your post.

The Heaven Can Wait: Frontline Heroes Fund provides direct support to St. Charles’ caregivers who are on the front line caring for patients in Central Oregon. These heroes are making sacrifices to care for others during this crisis. We are grateful for your generosity and hope you take great pride in the important difference that your gift makes.
