The course is new this year and is the perfect run for those training for the Lincoln Marathon or Half Marathon. Both races begin on 27th and A Street, near the Lincoln Children’s Zoo.

The 10-mile route challenges you by taking you along Normal Boulevard where you turn south at 56th Street and then west on to Calvert Street. You’ll take Calvert street until you reach the Rock Island Trail, which you’ll jump on and head south to the turnaround at Old Cheney. From there it will be a straight shot on the scenic Rock Island Trail to the finish line.

The 5K will follow the same route as the 10 mile along Normal Boulevard until just past 40th Street, where runners will make a small loop and head back down the Billy Wolf Trail to the finish line.

The 1-mile run/walk is the first race event of the Kids' Grand Prix. Runners and walkers alike, will head east on A Street until they reach Memorial Drive. A quick turnaround and up onto the Rock Island Trail to the finish.

Every 10-mile and 5K runner registered before February 23, 2019, will receive a special bonus race swag item at packet pick-up. Adult registration includes providing one meal for a friend or neighbor in need through Tabitha Meals on Wheels.

Youth and Grand Prix runners can choose to ADD a Tabitha Meals on Wheels donation to their registration at check-out.

Gift certificates from the Lincoln Running Company will be awarded in both races.

10 Mile
The top three men and women finishers will receive gift certificates as follows:
- 1st place - $75
- 2nd place - $50
- 3rd place - $25

The top masters finishers in both the men's and women's field will receive:
- 1st place - $50
- 2nd place - $25

Age divisions winners will also receive awards. The divisions are 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and up; and wheelchair. The top two men and women in each division will receive gift certificates as follows:
- 1st place - $20
- 2nd place - $15

5k
The top three men and women finishers will receive gift certificates as follows:
- 1st place - $50
- 2nd place - $35
- 3rd place - $20

The top masters finishers in both the men's and women's field will receive:
- 1st place - $35
- 2nd place - $20

There will be no age group awards in the 5K race.

There will be no age group awards in the 1-mile race.

There will be no duplication of awards.

The Tabitha 1 mile is the first event of the Kids' Grand Prix. Grand Prix runners should enter online and pay the normal entry fee: Kids 12 and under at $6.

Race Day Parking
The Lincoln Children's Zoo has asked race participants to use the parking lot south of Auld Pavilion in Antelope park. This lot will only be accessible from South Street, as all other entrances will be blocked for the race. From South St., turn north on Memorial Drive. You will drive straight into the Auld parking lot.

There will be limited parking available at the Zoo, accessible via the 27th St. entrance. Please keep in mind, the Zoo will be open so patrons will also be using that parking lot.
