Georgetown Hope Squad is proud to present the fourth annual Hustlin’ for Hope 5K Family Walk/Run! Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention organization focused on spreading hope, reducing stigma, and raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. This event brings our community together to support one another and remind everyone that they are not alone. All proceeds from the Hustlin’ for Hope 5K directly support the Georgetown High School Hope Squad, a student-led organization dedicated to raising awareness around suicide prevention and mental health. Hope Squad works to promote connection, education, and support within our school and community, helping ensure that no one feels alone and that resources are available to those who need them.

The Hustlin’ for Hope 5K starts and finishes at the Brown County Fairgrounds. Runners will begin by heading through the back of the fairgrounds near the tractor pull area before exiting onto Fourth Street. The course takes participants across Main Street and through a series of neighborhood streets, including South Water Street, North Apple Street, East Plum Street, Elm Street, and East Ohio Street, looping back onto North Apple before turning onto West North Street and West Plum Street. Runners will then continue onto Grandin Drive and West Grant Avenue, climbing up West Cherry Street before crossing West State Street and returning to the fairgrounds to finish. This scenic 5K route combines fairgrounds paths, residential streets, and hills, providing a challenging but enjoyable course. Just like our mission, these hills remind us to never give up; every step is a step toward hope.
