Event Schedule

All 8k and 5k participants will receive finisher medals. Register by June 5th for guaranteed shirt sizing. Shirts ordered after June 5th are not guaranteed. 7:30 AM - Corridor Running's Fifth Season 8K Race starts 7:45 AM - Corridor Running's Fifth Season 5K Run/Walk Starts Big Kids Fun Run & Youth Mile Run start after adult races (time TBD, approx. 9:00 AM)

Fifth Seasons 8K Race

The Fifth Seasons 8k Race is our feature event! Start/Finish line at the corner of 3rd Ave SE and 5th Street near the front of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Arts. The race will consist of an out and back route that will run from Greene Square Park on 3rd Ave SE, to 19th St SE, to Grande Avenue SE, with the turnaround in Bever Park and back down the same route to a downhill finish in front of Museum of Art/Greene Square Park. There will be no race-day registration or packet pick-up.



Corridor Running Fifth Season 5K The 5K route will follow the same route as the 8K, but have a turnaround on Grand Avenue. There will be no race-day registration or packet pick-up.



Finisher Medals: Finisher medals are provided for the 8K and 5K finishers.



Shirts: Register by June 5th to receive a guaranteed shirt size.

Kids' Fun Runs

Finisher medals to all kids who enter! Open to kids 12 and under, the kids' races are a great way to teach young people about healthy exercise. Kids' race participants will not get chip timers. Parents may run with their children and strollers are welcome! Sorry, no pets allowed. Both races will be run on 4th Ave SE, beginning in front of the Cedar Rapids Public Library. Big Kid Fun Run For kids 10 and under: a 0.45 mile run Youth Mile Run For kids 12 and under: 1 mile

Race results will be posted at the race and will also be available after the race at onlineraceresults.com, on corridorrunning.com, and on Corridor Running's Facebook page.

You can get a custom race slip at the timing tent after the race.  It will include your name, time, overall and division placing.  The timing tent will be located in Greene Square Park near the corner of 4th Ave SE and 5th St SE. Candid race photos will be available on the Corridor Running Facebook and Instagram pages. 

Charities / Proceeds

The Fifth Season races supports the local Cedar Valley and Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity organizations. Habitat for Humanity works within our communities to affect the quality of life, health, and economic prosperity through a focus on clean, decent, and stable housing. The areas served include the following counties: Linn, Benton, Johnson, Iowa, Cedar, and Washington.
