Run for a Great Cause — Protect our Beaches!

Welcome to Salem Sound Coastwatch’s 17th annual Run for the Beach 5K! Every summer, community members gather at Dane Street Beach in Beverly for a fun, family-friendly race to raise money for Salem Sound Coastwatch's mission "to protect and improve the environmental quality of Salem Sound and its watershed."  Race will be held rain or shine! Arrive early, race starts at 9 AM.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
$40. June 5 with t-shirt

SAME-DAY REGISTRATION:
$50. Arrive by 8:00 am the day of the race, race starts at 9 AM. Online only. Bring your cell phone. No cash or checks.

PARKING:
Free parking on neighborhood streets.

RESTROOMS:
The beach house has public restrooms.

WATER/SNACKS:
Bring refillable water bottles. Snacks available post-run for participants.

SWAG AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE:
2026 and vintage race t-shirts, hats, cups, and more.

AWARDS:
Winners receive Scallop, Surf Clam, and Quahog shell awards for first, second, and third place.

Fundraising with friends and family is a great motivator for your training! Sign up to fundraise when you register.

The 5K route starts at Dane Street Beach in Beverly, MA and goes past Lynch Park and the historic Hospital Point Lighthouse. It then circles back through residential streets and concludes at Dane Street Beach.

Race will be held rain or shine!
