Join us for an unforgettable adventure that starts on Nimishillen Creek and ends at Gervasi Vineyard! Start at Martindale Park with a 1.5-mile kayak trip to the Middlebranch Trailhead at Spangler Ave, NE. Once you’re ashore, continue the excitement with a 2.5-mile run or walk to Gervasi Vineyard.
Cap off the race with a pour of wine or a strawberry sage lemonade at the finish line and celebrate the day by enjoying the beautiful grounds of Gervasi Vineyard.

Please note: The event begins at 9:00 a.m., but you are registering for a wave start time. Unless you are in the 9:00 wave, you do not need to arrive at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before the wave time you registered for to allow for check-in and bus assignments.

• Age Requirement: Participants must be 12 years or older to join the event.
  
• Kayak Policy: Personal kayaks are not permitted, as organizers cannot accommodate transportation.
  
• Safety Adjustments: In the event of unsafe water conditions, the race will convert to a trail run only. Refunds will not be issued. We will do everything in our control to hold the kayak portion of this race, though safety will be a priority.
  
• Wave Starts: Participants will start in waves, approximately one minute apart.
  
• On-the-Water Etiquette: Do not interfere with fellow kayakers while on the water—good sportsmanship is a must!
  

• Packets will be available on race day only at Gervasi Vineyard, in front of the gift shop.
• No early pickups will be accommodated.

• Participants may park at Gervasi in the lot closest to 55th Street. Gervasi staff will be available
  on-site to assist with parking directions.
• Buses will transport participants from Gervasi to Martindale Park starting at 8:30 AM. Pick-up will be in front of the Bistro, near the packet pickup area.

• Please only carry what you need. If you are worried about losing your phone or keys, there will be a gear check available at Martindale Park. All checked items will be transported to the finish line.
