Angelo Rossi was born and raised in Jamaica Plain. Angelo raised his family in Roslindale after returning from his service in the US Army. He was an airborne infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division and a combat veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Angelo worked as a corrections officer and retired from the Suffolk County Sheriffs Department. Angelo held the position of adjutant of the American Legion Post 76 for many years. Angelo passed away suddenly in July 2019 in an automobile accident.
