The Gypsum Daze 5K Run/Walk is a tradition in Gypsum-31 years strong. Serious runners can go for a PR, but we invite everyone to head out for some exercise and fun.

There are giveaways and prizes for all and awards for overall male/female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as male and female age categories.

18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over

Race begins at Valley Road & Lundgren Blvd. The race is a loop course, starting and finishing at the corner of Valley Road & Lundgren Blvd, under the Gypsum Daze Arch.

All runners/walkers please report to the tent next to the start to pick up your bib numbers morning of the race (there is no early bib pickup).

Race route is marked and staffed throughout, but there are no water/aid stations on course. Water and light snacks will be provided at the finish. All participants receive a hat and all finishers are eligible for our prize drawing (must be present to win prizes).

Awards ceremony immediately follows race (once all racers are through the finish (approx 9:15am) - awards will go fast as we must be complete by the start of the Gypsum Daze Parade at 10am. Age group + overall winners will be posted once race results are complete; if you are not able to stay for awards you can pick up your ribbon and/or plaque at Town Hall July 21-25 (8am-5pm). Awards not picked up by July 25 will be recycled for next year!
