General Event Details

Traditional 5K: A traditional out-and-back 5K course on a crushed limestone trail. Your time is whatever you finish it in!

Pump and Run 5K: Run an out-and-back 5K with the “traditional” racers, but your time will be adjusted based off how many successful bench press reps you accomplish based off your demographic:

How bench press works:
- Where: Peak Performance (4501 Southern Hills Dr. Suite 19, Sioux City, IA 51106)
- When: Thursday, July 17th from 12:00 – 7:00 PM
Friday, July 18th from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Steps: Participants weigh in at Peak Performance & will bench (to the nearest 5 lbs) their respective weight according to their age/gender demographic. Reps MUST be spotted/recorded by a race official.
- For every successful rep accomplished, 1 minute will be deducted from the runner’s final 5K time.
