The CATalina Wine Mixer is a fundraiser for Friends of Columbus Animal Care Services, the 501c3 fundraising arm of Columbus Animal Care Services, hosted by Mark & Wendy Elwood. Funds are used for the Adoption Medical Fund, which pays for medical expenses to prepare an animal to be adopted out from Columbus Animal Care Services.

Your $150 ticket price includes a dinner from multiple food options, dessert, private cash bar, with The Impalas performing live and an evening of fun and fundraising with a silent auction, live auction and even a 50/50 raffle!

Come ready to dance the night away with your friends "fur" a great cause! Feel free to wear your best disco attire!

Dear Friends of Animals,

Over the last three years, an average of 1,500 abandoned and owned animals came through the doors at Columbus Animal Care Services (CACS). The majority of these animals required medical care including spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, or microchipping prior to adoption. A number of them also required emergency medical care due to injury or illness.

On Friday, September 12, 2025, the 4th CATalina Wine Mixer fundraiser will be held with proceeds going to the Adoption Medical Fund of Columbus Animal Care Services. The Adoption Medical Fund does not use tax dollars and is funded by fines, fees, and monetary donations. These donations cover spaying/neutering costs, pet care services, veterinarian treatment for pets housed at the facility, pet food, as well as promotion of adoptions and educational programs. A portion of these funds will also be set aside specifically for Emergency Care.

The CATalina Wine Mixer will be an event not to be missed! Live music by The Impalas, silent and live auctions, food and merriment will keep this Mixer fun and exciting!

How you can get involved:
• Become a sponsor!
- “Cats Meow” sponsorship level ($3,000) will receive Three Mixer admission
tickets ($150 value each) and recognition on all forms of publicity.
- “Paws Up” sponsorship level ($2,000) will receive Two Mixer admission
tickets ($150 value each) and recognition on all forms of publicity.
- “Top Dog” sponsorship level ($1,000) will receive One Mixer admission
tickets ($150 value) and recognition on all forms of publicity.

• Become a donor for the event! Monetary donations are always welcome and tax-deductible!

• Donate to the Live or Silent Auction! Do you have access to a great “experience” that could be auctioned off or do you have a unique item that could be in our Silent Auction?

• Come to the Mixer! Come and have a great time and enjoy the evening! Tickets are $150 per person.
