The Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club (WHJWC) is pleased to present the 11th annual Wonder Run 5K & Kid's Fun Run on Sunday, May 18, 2025! The Wonder Run is a celebrated part of Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend. We anticipate hundreds of participants and great community support again this year. We hope you will join us! Proceeds generated from the Wonder Run directly support community groups, scholarships for deserving local students, and grants to organizations and programs that provide education, enrichment, and essential services to our local population.

Timeline:
7:00am - Headline sponsor Heroes Fitness will lead a pre-race warm up, as well as a cool down after the 5K.
7:15am - Pre-Registration and same-day registration opens
Booths for Premier Sponsors Culture Pop Soda and Jhellen House of Beauty open
7:30am - Kids super-hero craft table opens
7:45am - Kids obstacle course run by Sensei Nicco DeMasco of SDSS Martial Arts
Kids activities will run until the beginning of the kids Fun Run
8:00am - 5K begins
9:00am - Kids Fun Run begins

The first 150 runners to sign up for the 5K race before May 5th will receive a free race hat. Hats may be picked up at bib pick-up.
After May 5th or 150 runners (whatever comes first), hats may be purchased.

Wonder Run Course
The Wonder Run is a USATF certified 5K road race through scenic Wellesley. Wellesley High School track is the location for the 8:00 a.m. start and the course will circle back to the track for the finish line. ALL runners and walkers welcome!

Kids Fun Run Course
There will be a Kids Fun Run around the Wellesley High School track starting at 9:00a.m., following the Wonder Run 5K. Kids ages 6 and under will run 1 lap around the track, and then kids ages 7-10 will run 2 laps around the track. If your child loves to run and wants to run the 5k, they are welcome to sign up for the 5k instead of the Fun Run. The Kids Fun Run is proudly presented by SDSS Martial Arts of Wellesley. Sensei Nicco DeMasco will be on hand with kid-friendly activities before the event. The Wonder Run is fun for the whole family!

Parking will be available at Wellesley High School (50 Rice Street) and at metered parking spaces along Route 16.
