General Event Details |
- This is a family friendly, community event to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost and fight back against cancer. Money raised supports The American Cancer Society’s mission to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, treat and survive cancer.
- This 5K fundraiser benefits American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. All runners and walkers are encouraged to fundraise and purchase raffle tickets to fight back against cancer.
- Music by DJ JoJo vybz, entertainment, vendors, post run refreshments and lawn games, bounce house, fun activities, raffles and prizes (bring cash or use QR code to purchase tickets before or after you run).
- Parking at school lot, 15 West Street. If lot is full, park at lot between Pond and Memorial Field (football field) on West Street.
- Early bib pick up, April 26th at Natick Outdoor Store 38 North Ave 10am-2pm
- Day of Registration and Bib pick up 7:30-8::45
- Opening Ceremony at 8:30. With National Anthem and Honor Guard. All encouraged to join us to support survivors and caregivers and learn how spending a few hours with us in the morning makes a difference in the lives of those touched by cancer.
- Award and Closing Ceremony 11:00 AM
- Event is held rain or shine.
- This is an outdoor event. Bathrooms will be available at the school.
- To promote event unity, all participants are encouraged to dress in purple attire (purple represents all types of cancer) or dress to support your loved ones cancer diagnosis (there’s a color for every type of cancer) to promote event unity. Prize will be awarded for best dressed!
- Strollers, wheelchairs welcome, for safety sake strollers and wheelchairs should start in back of the pack
- No bikes, scooters or pets please.
